Maina Foundation was given a gift of $10,000 in April, 2023 by MJS Foundation / Philanthropy NY for the cause of raising awareness of breast cancer. Dr. Alison Estabrook, a breast cancer surgeon was the main representative to take the proposal forward. This is the second year in a row that this gift has been made to Maina Foundation. The funds will be used by Somaiya Medical College and Research in an urban low income community of Mumbai for:
A. Creating awareness
B. Screening for Breast Cancer
C. Referral services to hospital for mammogram and further management
