On May 16th, 2026, Maina Foundation hosted an event at La Grua in Stonington, CT, to talk about their work of raising awareness of breast cancer to the local community.
The event, called “Bollywood Breast Cancer Bash,” kicked off with a keynote speech by Dr. Anitha Srinivasan, the CMO of Metropolitan Hospital in Manhattan, NY. There were several speeches stressing the importance of early detection, followed by dancing to Bollywood music and fundraising.
Maina Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing critical funding for increasing breast cancer awareness and promoting early detection to women in need of financial assistance in US and India since 2008.
