After our first ongoing door to door awareness program in collaboration with Somaiyya hospital ( now in its third year) , there were two more cases detected after Hirabai, which has given credence to the need of early detection, among the urban slums/ middle income group at Pratiksha Nagar, Mumbai. We then moved on to launch project Sneha , in rural Panvel, in March 2016. Now in collaboration with Dept of Community Medicine JNMC, Sawangi (M), Wardha , Maina Foundation has launched its awareness program in remote Maharashtra.
