India Development Service gives a grant of $15,000 to Maina Foundation in March 2019

India Development Service (IDS) founded in 1974, is a Chicago based non-profit organization dedicated to empower the most marginalized people in India to support socioeconomic development. IDS supports small scale projects and provides seed funding for non-profit organizations and/or activists. Since its inception, IDS has supported over 240 projects in various parts of India.

Funds granted to Maina Foundation by IDS provide breast cancer screening to women in low income communities with the UELifesciences iBreastExam device. This device is being used by our Somaiya Medical Hospital program benefitting hundreds of women since its inception in March 2019.
