Maina Foundation launches Project Sneha – its footprint in rural Maharashtra
After the resounding success of the grassroots project in spreading awareness of breast cancer among the urban underprivileged at Pratiksha Nagar, Sion, Maina Foundation launched Project Sneha , on 28th March 2016. It is also a fine example of great synergy between the government and private sector. Maina Foundation goes rural at village Borgaon near Chowk , Karjat,in Khalapur District in collaboration with Somaiyya hospital under the aegis of Government Health scheme to increase awareness and the importance of self examination and clinical breast examination (CBE) to the rural womenfolk in hinterland ….these are pics of our first mammography camp
75 women under went clinical breast examination and 34 underwent mammography
